| I
have been drawing as long as I can remember. As a child I did drawings
of animals and fantasy creatures such as dragons and unicorns. When I
was 11, I started to do more and more fantasy art after I saw my brother's
collection of fantasy art books such as Boris Vallejo's. For many years
I did only pencil work and tried to seek perfection in that. |

| People
always encouraged me to use color rather than do black and white pencil
work. I did now and the try work with color, but it took me some time
to find the right medium. In 2002 I started to paint with acrylic paint
and I somewhat left my pencils behind. I’m continuing to develope
my style. I still have a lot to learn about painting. |

| A
big impact on my art was my education. My studies as a graphic designer
opened many new doors for me. As my diploma work in my graphic studies
I did a children’s book and found a new love in the art field in
that. I also strangely found the love for computers through my graphic
studies and nowadays I also study information technology in addition to
my art studies. |

| Currently
I live in Finland and I have no plans of moving. Before in my life I have
moved quite many times. I'm from Finland but I spent partly my childhood
in Germany and speak both languages. I feel more at home in Finland but
I still love Germany very much. |
| |
| Some
silly facts about me are that I used to collect spiders as a child, but
they give me goose pumps in a bad way nowadays. I used to love red wine
but after switching countries I can’t drink it anymore. Life has
some unexpected turns, but I’m always going to be driven about art.
